Re: Florida Regional over all

Congrats Swampthing, Pink and Bionic Tigers on their win for Florida regional. About time Swampthing and Pink tasted the gold. Those two teams were unstoppable in the field.

Thanks to team 61 for picking us as an alliance partner. It was definitely fun going against Swampthing and Pink.

Thanks to all the mentors who has given up their time at work to help me (us) at this regional. It was very nice to meet Chris and Scott from Cyber Blue. Gary Dillard is always there to crack some jokes and make me smile. Addition to them it was very nice to see all the mentors from Swampthing, S.P.A.M., Team Emoticons, PAW, Think Pink.

Thanks to all my friends out there who were there at the regional this weekend and gave me company. It was nice to meet Ryan from Cyber Blue who came down all the way from Indiana. I guess, Billfred just loves Florida, he was there this weekend to supposedly surprise me and Gary. Thanks to the Swamp crew (I love you guys too).

Finally, I would like to thanks Jim Martz and Matt Kaplan (108 drivers) for being a true leader and for being one of the most effective drivers at the regional. Thanks to team 108 for letting me be a part of the team. This weekend was definitely fun even though this UCF regional 2005 was my last year as a student.

Thanks to the volunteers, judges and referees who were there the whole weekend dealing with us, and got this regional going very smoothly.

... Florida Regional 2005 ROCKED!

Re: Florida Regional over all

This was a mind-blowing regional for me. Lots of new faces, lots of old friends lots of great matches, and did I mention the fact that my ears are still ringing eight hours afterward?

Congrats to everyone who competed, whether you did well or not. I only hope Palmetto comes as strong!

Congrats to swampthing, thinkpink, and 1592......i watched over webcast and it was quite impressive.

233 - you were the most dominating bot I've seen this year. you're rapid scoring had my jaw dropped in my computer chair. AMAZING robot, kudos to you

179 - also, one of the most dominating robots ive ever seen. teamed with 233, your alliance could not be stopped.

1592 - what a great way to start your FIRST career....congrats!

i hope to see all of you in our division at nationals, it would be a pleasure to play a match with you.

Re: Florida Regional over all

I had a really good time at the regional. Met a lot of cool people, saw a lot of great robots, and definately had a blast. All you guys need to come up for IRI in July.

Congrats 179, 233, and 1592 for just being awesome.

Congrats 79 Krunch for winning Chairman's Award. Excellent entry, you're a true quality team.

Arefin - you rock man, see you at nationals and/or IRI
