Re: Detroit Regional 2005
For lost and found, I would try the Fieldhouse @ (313) 577-4280

I misspoke, the intelligence is flawed, the CIA failed, I was misquoted. Really though I screwed up, both the sheets posted above are incorrect. All teams at Detroit had 12 matches, why the scoring system shows 11 for many I do not know, but the results listed above are incorrect. I apologize for my fact checking error, check out the first post in this thread for rankings. Ben Tower |

Re: Detroit Regional 2005
What an awesome regional full of awesome teams. By far my best FIRST experience ever!
I just wanna thank everyone that made it happen, and send a huge thanks out to 245 for picking us, and 301 for kicking major tail with us. Also, great job to: 33, 397, and 123 - Great battle in the finals there! That was too fun! 494, 1213, and 184 - Awesome matches! I mean, cmon! A TIE in the Semi-finals? Jeeez! Can't wait for nationals ![]() |

Re: Detroit Regional 2005
Just want to second what John already said, Detroit was awesome! Great job to teams 1213, 494 and 184, you were a tough alliance. Look forward to seeing 494 at nationals. Finalist teams 397, 33, and 123, you were awesome too, those last few matches were really close! Congrats to team 33 for winning the robot design award, you guys deserved it.
Also wanted to mention how impressed I am with how much all the teams are improving as we progress through the competitions. It seems like everyone is finding ways to make their design better or figuring out how to use what they have to much greater effect. Some of the competition at Detroit was truly fierce, so hats off to everyone's efforts, you all deserve a pat on the back. Finally, to our alliance partners teams 245 and 301, we couldn't have done it without you, thanks for all your hard work and dedication. 245, thanks for picking us, you guys have an incredible drive team -- your quick reactions and stacking speed were just amazing. Oh, and the chairs on the field during that time out -- GOLDEN, that's all I can say. 301, YOU OWN THE BACK ROW. :-D Seriously, you guys held on to that thing like no other, I'm glad we had the chance to partner up with you. Once again, great job to everyone who was at Detroit, especially the volunteers/refs/judges. Everyone worked hard and the event was a huge success. I had a blast. Good luck at the rest of your competitions, and can't wait to see more Triple Play at nationals! Last edited by Maestro PK : 20-03-2005 at 04:57. |
