general judging at championships

several members of our team have been wondering...how exactly does the judging at the championship work?

I have heard that it is pretty much 4 large regionals at one time. So does that mean there are four seperate sets of judges? or is there still only on set? And how many judges will there be all together?

We won our regional Chairman's award at the St.Louis Regional and I have gone through those threads, and I know the judging for that is pretty much the same as it was at regionals. The Chairmans's Award judging process is not my question...I am asking about the judging for the other awards...spirit, creativity, engineering, imagery, etc. any help would be helpful.

Re: general judging at championships

I may be wrong in this, as I was distracted by the bright neon MOE green last year, but there should be a separate set of judges for each field. Otherwise, having only one set would be impractical, as it would be chaos and they wouldn't be able to catch everything on every field. Chances are, it's hard enough already, why make it harder on themselves? As for the awards, I'm not too sure about engineering, imagery, creativity and the like, but I definitely remember there being a spirit award for the most spirited team in our division; it's really difficult to miss that much flashy green pass by you...

Congrats on your Chairman's Award and good luck in ATL!
