Capping Center Goal

Could some people who are doing regionals this weekend keep track of the proportion of matches in which the alliance that owned the center goal at the end of the match won the match. If you are a scout or observer or something and don't mind making note of this and then reporting back I would very much appreciate it. Good luck to everyone competing this weekend!

Re: Capping Center Goal

While its not an exact number, from the matches I've seen in the 3 regionals Ive been to, about 2/3 of the time if you controlled it you won. But a large % of those matches it either a) wouldnt have made a difference if they didnt control it, and/or b) wasnt part of a row anyway.
While the center goal is potentially worth 40 points of rows, it alone wont win a match.

Re: Capping Center Goal

I think controlling your home row is directly proportional to the odds of you winning the match, more so than the center.

Re: Capping Center Goal

It's all about the diagonals. One diagonal and you're the only alliance to score any rows. Talk about a game-winner.
