Signatures - A friendly reminder from your CD Mods.

Hey all CDers,

It's awesome to see all of the successes of your team and the cool graphics you create in your signatures, but please use this signature space within the stated forum rules:

"All rules detailed here apply to signatures, as well. Signatures should not be larger than 200px tall (all images, text, etc.). For reference, this is 200px. Due to abuse and a large amount of complaints, politically oriented content should not be placed in your signature. The ChiefDelphi.com administrators may edit your signature at any time, without warning or notification, to remove any content which breaks these rules."

Three quick ideas for those who need to put their signatures on a diet:
1. Smaller fonts
2. The horizontal space can be your friend (see my sig. for an example)
3. Shrink image sizes

Thanks for your attention to this. We don't want to have the signatures overpower the awesome content and we want to keep images to a reasonable size for obvious reasons.

200 pixels is smaller than I thought

Anyways, thanks for having that image open up in a new window, and I want to suggest this again.

That's a good idea, it would allow us to determine if were are going over the limit with ease.
Instead of opening a new window with the picture and comparing the preview to the picture

Looks OK to me as long as you don't go political or sales oriented.

If i did it, i would promise not to. Just my humble blog about the happenings of my life, Chances are Rom's World wouldn't be listed, but a blog i want to start about my first experiences on LJ, just sorta testing the waters with it. I thought feed burner was sorta cool

Actually, it's directed at everyone who has an oversized or inappropriate signature. The moderators aren't trying to single anyone out, just looking for people to remember the rules.
