Re: Archimedes Division

Looks like Archimedes is really on FIRE. I would like to point out some teams...

48, 65, 71, 79, 93, 107, 116, 173, 179, 217, 233, 716, 1114, 1251 are the teams that has caught my attention this season. This division is really going to have lots of crazy Tripple Play. Arefin will be there to watch these teams in action. Good luck to all teams out there.

Re: Archimedes Division

There are great teams in each division, but the thing that stands out most about Archimedes is depth. If you made a dream alliance in each division, it would be great, but I think Archimedes has a bit of an advantage with realistic alliance picking.

24 Archimedes teams in the elimination rounds. 25 Archimedes teams won regionals.

I can't wait.

Re: Archimedes Division

You may have an excellent division but watch out for Galileo! My bets are on a Archimedes vs. Galileo finals and that should be incredible to watch. Good luck to all the teams!

Re: Archimedes Division

i am rediculously excited about Nationals The Championship Event this year.

seriously. i just looked at the Division Lists and i freaked out. This is going to be so much fun!! i cant wait, i really can't! Not only will the matches be exciting--mind you, ALL OF THE MATCHES will be exciting, not just the semifinals and up, but ALL because everyone who made it to Atlanta is a winner and has proven themselves in competition. Every team attending The Championship Event has a chance to win. If they didn't, why would they be invited to come in the first place (besides to have an awesome time)? As i was saying, not only will the matches be exciting, but i'm really interested in who is going to win Chairman's Award. A lot of good teams are up, and its probably going to be close this year. i wish the best of luck to all!

i dont think we'll have to worry too much about spirit... i'll try to get my hands on enough body paint to go around, if anyone's interested, but no promises. (knowing my luck, one will be lucky to get pink war-paint on their face) also, i'll be getting a group to run around and do Good-Morning cheers, if anyone's interested. it shouldnt be too hard to find me, i'll be walking around the pits greeting every team and wishing them a good morning and good luck every morning (maybe even more that one time a day)! and i'm sure with the help of teams like Children of the Swamp, KRUNCH, and others (sorry, its late and FL teams were the first i could think of) we should have no problem showing the other divisions how much spirit Archemedies has.

8 DAYS!!! the suspense is killing me!!

While everybody is busy talking about robots this is also going to be a fun division with spirited teams like us and 1547 Where's Waldo and such.
Party on dudes!

Ah... TJ2 and Buzz tried to outdo RAGE in cheering at Chesapeake - we had a great cheering volley going back and forth across the playing field. But I know that the Archie teams have what it takes!
Who's bringing mascots with them to Atlanta? Sprocket (our red bulldog) will be there!

Re: Archimedes Division

I just want to point out that the last two Chairman's award winners (103 and 254) we're in the same division as us). That is good news for 48, 65, 79, 233, 342, 812, 931, 957, and 1014 and unless FIRST overcomes it's low number bias (before last year no team over 200 had won the Chairman's award. Maybe this year they'll break 300) things look really good for 48, 65, 79 and 233. If you go by the unscientific method.
