Taking apart the motor control module
I bought my kit today from radioshack and since I did not have any batteries on me I decided to stare at the kit. Then I decided to take apart the motor control module because all that was holding the thing together was four screws. Anyway what I saw was two pic18f brand microcontrollers and some other devices. Also, the board only goes back together in one direction which is good because you can't tell which side is which just by looking at the pieces seperately.

Yeah. Did you get the replacement gears in your kit?
The manual has pretty complete instructions about how to take apart the moters and put them back together.
