Seeing FIRST Work

I have laid dormant long enough i think ....Hello Everyone. For thoughs who don't know me My name is David Ferreira aka Daver. I've been doing First for 10 years now and every year prior i have put 100% of myself to accomplish the tasks involved in the First program.

As for this year. I've pretty much been a spectator. But when i say spectator i mean sitting on the outside looking in. The cheerleader is what i called myself at BAE. (For me its unheard of). I commend everyone for a fantastic regional season this year. I hope everyone had a great time.

I'd like to touch upon one thing of importance in this post. Three words! (Seeing FIRST work). For thoughs out there may you be a mentor, teacher or engineer. You all understand these three words and why i might be stressing them..

Seeing is believing, and being at the nationals last year i saw 20,000 people living it up (FIRST style). Meaning coopertion was riding high as I've never seen it before at a national event. I witnest a robot being built in a day. CRAZY!.. but an awesome accomplishment in itself to over come a unfortunate shipping mishap. I personally helped a few teams rebuild there robot after some heavy play in match's on Friday..( Gotta Be there for the teams in need) I saw, and was apart of over 100 volunteers that made that event possible.

(Seeing FIRST Work) Just make it Happen! Its as simple as that..

See you all there. Look for the Guy on a Trick out Segway with a green RedSox hat......Safe travels everyone.

Dave..

P.s. Yankees .........Well you know!

Re: Seeing First Work

The key to the success of FIRST is the capitalization of its name.
