Question Best Season ... ever?

This thread is a huge congrats to Team 67 for an amazing season. Anyone at the championship knows they won on Einstien and Chairmans, but they also won two regionals (Great Lakes and Buckeye) and a regional chairmans (West MI). This gives them a grand total of SIX GOLD MEDALS in one season!

So here's my question:
Has anyone EVER beat this, or did 67 have the best FIRST season of any team, ever?

WHo knows, perhaps all the gold medals will never come anywhere close to how people experianced this season. Personally, in my past high school exeriance has been great ever year. I didnt measure the sucess of the season on how many medals or how many regionals our team won

Re: Best Season ... ever?

I would like to know who beat 67's record for 2005 (there is one vote for yes)? Remember the thread says record as in wins-losses, awards, medals. We all know that almost everyone gets an experience of a lifetime from participating in FIRST.

Re: Best Season ... ever?

67's season certainly goes down as one of the best ever in first. There are other teams that have had awesome years when you look at all of the awards out there to win (there was a 13 award season I recall), but I would venture that 67's is the HOTTEST ever in terms of gold medals.

Re: Best Season ... ever?

I think this was the best season ever for a single team. We won with them at GLR, applauded them at West Michigan, and cheered them on at Nationals as they were at the finals. Fantastic team, and a fantastic job well done for them this year. In fact, congratulations is not enough for them. It just is not. Just fantastic!
