I've noticed 45 showing up QUITE frequently in physics class...because it is (roughly) the distance in meters an object has fallen in a vaccum in 3 seconds (d=(1/2)gt^2)

I like watching the Back to the Future movies and hearing our number constantly as the amount of power it takes to power the flex capacitor.

1.21 gigawatts!

The Doc's first test in time traveling also happens at 1:21AM

And we all know the speed the time machine needs to reach which is 88mph (good old TJ2)

Well i noticed on my cars odometer it said 0176 after filling up w/ gas a few days later, an in school we had to read up to page 176. I have also looked at a clock an saw 2:29, and saw gas prices in Suffield Ct at 2.29. (Clarkson my b/f's team).

Here is something that would be cool to see: someone's actual phone number which combines three FIRST team numbers.

For example: 716-461-1114

and... better yet, have that person be involved in FIRST.

right on i like that phone number

The weirdest thing keeps happening to me, I seem to fall asleep at night when my clock says 11:14 , and the gas price in my area has gone above the $1 mark after New Orleans got hit, and I have seen gas prices at the 111.4 cents per litre.

Re: Team Numbers in Everyday Places

With 1.59 being a low number with a 9 in the cents digit for money, there are often items at fast food restaurants that are $1.59. The most recent thing I bought was a 40oz Slurpee for $1.59.

During my freshman year, gas was around $1.59, and our team kept getting excited about that. Below is a picture taken of one of these from out the bus window on the way back from the Championship. I wish it still cost that much!

I've been on the look out for 1065 for two years, but this is my first year actually on the team, no luck just yet. Anyone ever see 1065?
