Re: Team Numbers in Everyday Places

I have seen our team number 2207 on a mailbox on my way to school.

And during the MN Regional I saw a license plate with 093 on it and thought of Team 93.

Re: Team Numbers in Everyday Places

I'm sure its been said before, but almost everyday I see 11:14, and my sister's cell phone number starts with 217

I don't know that many teams yet, being it my rookie year, but what I do know I notice.

Re: Team Numbers in Everyday Places

My team (2079) was driving back home to Massachusetts from the Pittsburgh Regional. We only made one stop for gas. We were driving down the highway and decided to stop for gas, the gas station we pulled into was number 2079.

I've become accustomed to seeing other teams numbers all over the place but I rarely see my teams number, I just thought it was weird that of all the places we stopped it would be the place with my team's number.

Re: Team Numbers in Everyday Places

OMG...I was looking at these e-mails that we printed out for sponsors and the captain of our fundraising sub-team's phone number's last four digits are 1676...and so I quickly posted here.

Also whoever is team 908, I see your number like more than 20 times a day (For those who don't know 908 is an NJ area code)

Re: Team Numbers in Everyday Places

Last night, I watched the Local on the 8's on the weather channel at RoboDevils pm, and just by coincidence turned it off after a story ended at Kil-A-Bytes pm.

Crazy, considering we borrowed their robot controller at the Boilermaker regional... have to remember to give that back.

Thanks PIKE ROBO DEVILS!

When taking the Calculs AB AP test today, we started the free response section at 10:24am.

Needless to say, I have a good feeling about the test.

Re: Team Numbers in Everyday Places

Haha Thats funny because I saw the number 141 EVERYWHERE before nationals! My plane flew in at 1:41, three days in a row I looked at the clock and it was 1:41, I was watching House and he said "I will give you this for, the one dollar and forty one cents in your pocket", I look at my car's odometer, and it had 141 miles on it. I saw bus #141 more than I normally, and on the way to the Georgia Dome I saw 4 signs everyday for Exit 141. I thought I was alone on that!

Re: Team Numbers in Everyday Places

I'm working on a presentation over how our motion control system works this year... and ran accross a team number in a very interesting place...

There were THRUST teams involved in the FRC competition this year!

We love you 1501!

Re: Team Numbers in Everyday Places

At 5:28, the time is actually 4:88. (Always my answer to questions like "what time is it?")
My locker number at school is 176, awesome alliance partners in Atlanta
Also, one-digit numbers tend to show up a fair amount

Re: Team Numbers in Everyday Places

Too many times when I'm doing my homework have I looked up at the clock to see that it's Funky Monkeys(846) pm. It happens so many times that I resort to smacking my head every time that happens.
Also, recently in my math class, Danvillans(1458) kept showing up as the answer for some wierd reason, made me pinch myself to make sure I wasn't going crazy.

Oh, and in a skit, I purposely inserted PALY(8), Raider Robotix(25), and MVRT(115) as the numbers for a math problem in the script.(8x + 25 = 115) Still don't know what I was thinking at that point.
