Good Books

Has anyone read any good books lately? I'm running out of ideas of what to read and book suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Oh and as long as your posting, what is your favorite genre and who is your favorite author?

As for me I tend to stick to horror, comedy (mainly dark/realist), antisociety, or fantasy but I'm willing to explore other types of books. I still haven't found a favorite author though. XD
