Dean Kamen's Portable Water Purifier
I don't post much anymore, but this popped into my mind with the recent hurricane in the south. It seems like using a generator to power the device could have easily provided water to those who needed it.
Here is a little information on the device. http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cg...8/BU156573.DTL http://www.time.com/time/2003/inventions/invwater.html http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/se...earchid=472697 ![]() Last edited by Clark Gilbert : 08-09-2005 at 21:27. |
