Wisconsin State VEX Tournament Announcement
I posted this in the Milwaukee VEX League forum, but I wasn't sure how many people would see it there.
Attention FIRST community: We have open spots in our Wisconsin State VEX Tournament! We are now opening this up to anyone and everyone that is interested. The game will be released this Saturday (November 5th), and the tournament will be here in Milwaukee on December 4th. Registration is only $25 per team! We currently have 15 teams signed up and are looking to increase to 20 or 24 if there is that much interest! If your team is interested, PM me so I can get you the info on how to register. We hope to see you!! :::To Clarify: This is NOT an official FIRST VEX Competition and it is NOT a way to qualify a VEX team for Atlanta. This is a game that we put together for fun as a preseason activity.::: Kevin Last edited by Kevin Kolodziej : 02-11-2005 at 20:31. |

Re: Wisconsin State VEX Tournament Announcement
I want to thank all of the students, mentors, parents, and supporters that came out on Sunday to the first ever WIRED* Robotics Challenge, depsite the bad weather on Saturday night and the Bears - Packers game on Sunday
The event was a HUGE success and as far as I know, everyone had a wonderful time. Pictures will be forthcoming later this week and results will be posted shortly on wirobotics.org/vex. Congratulations to Marquette University High School for their terrific showing (all of their teams!). The overall event winner (and two other randomly selected teams) were awarded Vex Programming kits - we hope that you will learn them and put them to good use in next year's game Kevin *WIRED = Wisconsin Institute for Robotics in Education |

Re: Wisconsin State VEX Tournament Announcement
Hurray! Thanks for bringing this thread back, Kevin. I was having a devil of a time trying to find it.
And of course, thanks to all of the people at WIRED that put so much time and effort into running this tournament. I had a blast and I know that a number of other teams did as well. Hopefully, this will develop into a full-fledged FIRST competition next year! |
