dude! that is so sad! this makes me sad and mad at the same time!
I mean, why can't you get a scholarship?!!? scholarships are supposed to be for this, right?! i'm sure you could find SOMEONE to mentor you! maybe even a part-time mentor with more students incharge!

wish i could help....

Mobotics is gone?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

yea, I know about your teacher problem (he came to us) last year, but he left for another school in Whitby at the end of the year, and we are somehow managing this year with another teacher who worked alongside mr g last year, and another new teacher. I hope 783 can eventually come back to life with the help of other teachers/mentors.

Re: 2006 Missing Teams?

It also looks like team 1185 (the X-Bots) has dissolved. This is the second time that a team at Schenley High School has ceased to exist, despite being right next door to Carnegie Mellon University, a school with arguably one of the best robotics programs in the world. It's a pity that either CMU isn't providing enough resources to make it work, or that Schenley isn't taking advantage.

Re: 2006 Missing Teams?

Im shocked to see all of these teams missing this year! But i completely understand about the funding and teacher problems, it seems all of FIRST has hit the same slump.. I hope everybody can get all their problems worked out in order to come back big in '07.

Re: 2006 Missing Teams?

While everyone has noticed all the teams that have gone away has anyone noticed that 192 has returned?
