Off-Sesaon Projects? [was: Thought!!!]

I was wondering what kind of projects other teams were working on during the off season(for example) us at 306 have been toying with our cannon to see what we can do to amuse our selves and others, and also to get a better hang on pnumatics and from what i can tell we have done both of those.
Any ideas!!!

Re: Thought!!!

The team hasn't really been working on any structured project. Personally, I've been working on the Cal Poly Universities "Enchanted Reverie" float for the Tournament of Roses Parade which you can watch on TV January 2nd. I tried making a pressurized smoke system which didn't work really, but it made a very cool fog horn. I came up with the conceptual design for the tail mechanism and assisted in building that. I completely designed and built the mechanisms to flap the large dragon wings as well as the wings on two of the faries. I did a good bit of shaping for the neck and front of the dragon. And I assisted with a whole bunch of other random stuff.

Also, I learned to operate a forklift and a boomlift, and I have learned to do stick/arc and wirefeed welding.
