OMG WHAT A DISAPPOINTMET!!!

That movie really sucked.

I suppose the most glaring falling of it was the half-rate special effects. Just look at really ANY of the FIRST Team's animations and they were better for the most part than the movies'.

I myself have never read the comics or watched the TV show, but I was able to predict everything that happened in the thing - weak story.

One thing I liked, the movie was well casted.

I give it 1.5 Stars (out of 5).

Don't rate it that badly.

I saw it earlier at 4:10

I thought it was pretty good with few exceptions

Such as:

Predictable, but most know what happen anyhow

Web shooters...not web coming from his forearm

God the guy that plays the Green Goblin is so freaky!!!

There was good stuff though too...

Great cast

Ok effects

I think they should have split it up more, they jumped around a lot in the story from what I remember.

Good news too, They are making 2 more but i don't know when they will come out

Excuse me? Those were crap.

They were espcially weak for an 'action adventure' movie BASED around the effects.

People at my school can do things better than that.

For instance, whenever he was jumping around on the ground, all I could think was "Medal of Honour" (the comp game) IT LOOKED EXACTLY LIKE IT.

Then right at the begining of it, the credits....Right from the get-go I said to myself 'those effects had better get better quickly' - they didn't.

Weak weak SpecialFX.

Ok, well, that's why I changed my orginal to ok effects.

It's ok, I'm not going to argue with you. I liked the movie but I've always been a spidey-fan and I'm just happy they finally got something else out. I really hope the next one will include Doc Oc!

Then again, once the people that can do better get out there it will be so sweet! oh well, more and more will come as our generation moves into the ranks of the real world. Hopefully effects will get better. I know I certainly didn't like the beginning of the movie. Very jerky, it got me dizzy all the moving around.

I LOVE THAT MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!
Of course the special effects were not believable. It's based on a comic book, after all. The entire story line is not believable. Yet i enjoyed it anyway. Maybe it's cause i'm a girl, but i liked the movie for the same reason i like the comics....it is so human. They may be humans with mutant abilities, but they are still human, and i thought Sam Raimi really captured that, if nothing else. Tobey especially played his part beautifully. I didn't think he would, becuase he doesn't look the part, but he was perfect!!! I simply loved the movie, and i can't wait to go see it again!

ps....does anyone know where i can get digital footage of the world unity festival scene? I was an extra in that scene, and i discovered today that you can actually see the back of me in one shot...i'd love to be able to zoom in and show ppl. Anyone?

Cool

I can't believe you guys didn't like the movie. I used to be a huge Spiderman comic collector so maybe that might be the reason I liked the movie more but I think that the special effects were as good as they needed to be. Willem Dafoe is one of the greatest actors in my honest opinion. You should check out the other movies he is in such as the Boondock Saints which is one of my favorite movies. He is freaky but he is purposely being that way.

I know he fit the part...too well!

He practically gave me the willies every time I saw him. He's just so so so freaky looking.

And I did think it was awesome.
I hope you find the pic of you in it!
I would love to see it!!!
