Confessions of a serial bumper...

Let me begin by saying I am an idiot.

For years, I have wondered why nobody commented on the musings of Car Nack.

To my mind, Beatty, I mean Car Nack, maded some pretty bold statements but nobody thought much of them or commented on them*.

Anyway, I have tried on several occassions to draw folks in, but to no avail.

Although I am not now nor have I ever been Car Nack, as it turns out, I did not know that this forum is MODERATED and I am the moderator (I suppose this is one of the dangers of being a moderator - I could post, so I assumed others could as well).

So, folks HAVE been commenting, only the stupid moderator (your's truly) did not approve any of the comments.

In the future, I will make it a point to approve posts in a more timely fashion (I have deleted posts that were over a year old -- sorry to the posters of those messages -- some were very clever and insightful -- I am sorry).

I am sorry too for the so called bumper posts that I have used over the years to try to draw folks in to the conversation that Car Nack posts should have drawn.

My sincerest apologies all around,

Regards,

Joe J.

*this SHOULD have tipped me off that something is up. Typically, a post predicting the sun's rising tomorrow will get at least a FEW posts refuting such a narrow minded interpretation of the heavenly spheres...
