connecting CMUCam2 with a PC without the RC
I'm trying to connect the CMUCam2 to the PC in order to use the LabVIEW applications made by Diaz and/or the Java application. I read in the CMUCam2 Workbook that I can connect it to the PC without the need of connecting it to the RC.
how can I do such a thing? I'll be thankful! |

Re: connecting CMUCam2 with a PC without the RC
first take a db9 (seriel) cable and run it from the computer to the db9 port on the camera. Then make a power supply (search this site I already posted how) finally plug the servos into servo ports 1 and 2 and you will have a working camera. THen just run the progtram of your choice (CmuCam2 GUI or labview) and you should have a working camera
