This is very similar to our team's idea for a ball thrower. The only different views of how we should do it is whether we should have 1 or 2 wheels and if both wheels should be powered or just one... Any other original ideas would be interestiong to read....

this one actually uses 4 wheels, two back and two front, maybe that will stimulate your imagination?

If the ones in the front are going slower then the ones in back then that would probably allow for a quicker period for the wheels to get back up to speed then correct? And therefore it would eliminate a lot of waiting that some other teams may have to do between shots.
