cad dimensions?
does anyone know where i can get the parts as just dimensions?
i need these so i can rebuild them in a lower version of inventor |

A STEP or IGES version will work in any version of Inventor. Maybe you could get someone to save them all in one of those formats for you. Also, there are some spec sheets with dimensions here http://www.usfirst.org/robotics/2006/2006specsheets.htm

If it is already in Inventor, you might try exporting as STEP. This saves most things, but not constraints and I dont' think it saves material specs. I made a quick model in Inventor 8 and saved as STEP and opened it in Inventor 5. I had to reconstrain everything, but the model was there.

do you know where you can get dims for the parts in the kitbot? i mean like the rails and bumpers. if you do can you post the website please?
this is cool where you can open parts in iges or step. can you do assys that way? |
