Lights?

What do the lights on the Camera mean? As far as I can tell, there is "DS1", "DS2", and "DS3". DS1 and DS3 are on, but it's shaky. I have to hold the power switch up, almost like there's a loose connection. DS2 only flashes when the camera just gains power. For some reason, the servos twitch when the DS2 light is on, but only then. What do these lights mean?

Re: Lights?

Er.. I'm not sure which light is which, but this is basically what I've seen:
Green light - Power. If this is off the camera is either turned off or lacking power.
Red light - Lock. If this is on, the camera has a lock on something, and will move the servos to attempt to keep that lock. If it flashes, the camera may have a lock and keeps loosing it, or there may be a lot of light that is similar - you may need to increase the Noise Filter Setting.

That third light, I don't have a clue.. I've never seen it on in normal operation.. Maybe it displays a fault with the camera? I'm not sure.

Re: Lights?

I would highly suggest that next time you check out the documentation at http://www.ifirobotics.com/

If you click on CMU Cam2, and then click on Getting Started, you can access the CMU Cam2 manual. In there is a troubleshooting guide that explains what the light patterns mean.
