3DS File Corruption

We are working on animating our animation but every time we introduce our models into the scene and save our work, when we try to open it, we get the

"application error" "we need to close box"

. We have spent a week redoing the same work.

Does anyone know anything to help fix the problem. We are stumped and stuck.

We would really appreciate it if anyone has anything to help.
