vBulletin comes defaulted to 60... it was 60 for a while, and then it changed to 47 seconds on 07-30-2001, and has been there since.

Using what? JS? I don't think that a hack like that is really necessary. If you can reply to a message in less than 47 seconds, then your connection is too high. I have a 56k, so i don't think that i could go that fast. Yes, i think i'v gonnen the error once or twice, but usually, by the time i read all the new posts, and think of something good to say, it takes longer than 47 seconds. If you can respond to 2 messages in less than 47 seconds, is what you are saying really need to be posted. As said earier, its to prevent spamming/cracking of the forum.

Just my $.02 (They need to make a cents sign for the keyboard. does anyone know Alt key for cents? ie: for ü it is hold 'alt' then type 0252)
