Re: What is special about your HS, or School that you go to

My school was the only school in AMerica (As pointed out in the USA Today) to have "Orientals" as their mascot. No FIRST robotics team til this year (1567 the Shock-A-Bots).

Re: What is special about your HS, or School that you go to

The Plymouth- Canton Educational Park (P-CEP), a 305 acre campus site in western Wayne County, is the home of three large comprehensive high schools- Canton, Salem, and Plymouth High Schools. Completed in 2002, the buildings house approximately 280 teachers, counselors, administrators, human services and learning specialists and a student population of around 5,500 grades nine through twelve. The curriculum is extensive with 183 units of credit taught during the school year. Courses in the basic core are supplemented by a variety of enrichment opportunities including 13 Advanced Placement offerings.

--Quote from P-CEP Program of Studies

Some other features of the Park include two football stadiums (Varsity and JV), an operational radio station, TV studio, 3 full gyms, 2 pools, complete auto shop, 3 school stores, 2 theaters, cafe for teachers, security force, police on site 24/7.

All the schools have their own sports teams, all the clubs(40+) and the Robotics team are combined.

As for spirit Canton and Salem have been rivals for more than 30 years so the Canton/Salem games are big events and the varsity football game is huge.
Through all of this our robotics team has grown to almost 100 students and is gaining some recognition. This is the first year varsity letters could be earned for robotics.
