victor fan mount screws

on the IFI website the victor 884 fans are mounted to the victor with 2 clips + 2 screws. the ones we recieved have only 2 clips. no screws. should i be worried about anything? i dont know how strong those clips are but it wobbles around quite a bit. not enought to contact anything yet.. but once we get the robot moving.. i dunno.

Re: victor fan mount screws

Ours only had 2 clips as well... I don't think the wobble will be much of a problem though. It doesn't look like there is that much play.

Re: victor fan mount screws

I believe no one got the screws. We just got 2 clips also per speed controller. Neat idea (probably cheaper for IFI) for them to go with the clips.

Re: victor fan mount screws

884's have been without screws since the introduction of the clips. They work well enough but can be broken off if something falls on the top of the controller. As I remember, the screws are #4 x 1 or maybe 1-1/4".
