CRT 306 at Pittsburgh

Hi all,

I was just wondering what you though of our team at Pitt.
Did you notice any strengths or weaknesses? basically I would like
to see what other team's scouting sheets say about us... And please
Don't hesitate to tell us what we did wrong, there is always room for improvement

Also, did your team notice us in the pits or recognize our robot?

anything would be helpful so thanks in advance!

-Cody

Re: CRT 306 at Pittsburgh

I have to say you guys did really well. I thought that your design was simple and got straight to the point of doing the lower goals. I didn't get a chance to see your bot up close as much or how much it weighted, but I think that you were a bit to light and it really ended up hurting you in the end. I think that a bit more weight on your bot might make it better. (I'm from 1743) and we noticed that if we had more weight, it might of really helped in the final matches.

If you have any other specific questions, feel free to drop us a line, we want to give feedback to all the teams about how they did.

Re: CRT 306 at Pittsburgh

In the end we weighed abou 111 pounds. Our problem in the final matches was we broke our drive train and had to do a quicl fix. We took the drive chains off the front and replaced them with the back, so instead of being a six wheel driven robot we were a 4 wheel driven one.

Re: CRT 306 at Pittsburgh

Honestly, when we first began the practice rounds I had very little faith in our robot...but after the total overhaul of our robot and game play strategy, that all changed..................we ended up rocking out hard thanks to the skills of our build team and the excellent driving abilities of Cody C

You guys were a consistently good herder. I loved your laundry hamper design. I also loved that scary face on the front of your robot. Does he have a name?
