Thank You Silicon Valley Teams
Team 1280 attended the Silicon Valley Regional last week. We were lucky enough to get into the final rounds as the blue alliance. We split the first 2 matches and it was down to sudden death in the last match of the regional. Unfortunately, we broke a wheel during the second match and were considering opting out for a replacement robot. Members of several other teams came to our assistance, offering spare wheels and advice as well as words of encouragement. And to top it off, the red alliance gave up their time out in order to give us more time to finish the repair. We were able to get back out on the field and even though we lost the final match, we consider ourselves winners due to the support we received from those around us. It was truly gracious professionalism at its best.
