STAMP week 4 Release (v1.4)

New in this release:

Do you use pit scouting? If so you are gonna love this!

STAMP now has dynamic robot info.

What this means is that YOU the user gets to select what data you want from pit scouting. STAMP still comes with the default fields, but you can customize to your hearts content.

Otherwise there have been a few other changes as well.
The match input page no longer has those plus minus boxes, we got feedback that they were just getting in the way. The ranking function now works on the ranking page.

I will post screen shots of the dynamic robot info when I get PS on this computer, but that may be a while, so feel free to download from the STAMP download page .

Hey

Our team has been trying to run STAMP with no success.
Does STAMP have to be on a web server?!
If yes, how exactly do you install something on a server (all I know is that I have access to the server via Flash FXP...but I am no web genius, so help in this would be appreciated).
If it is possible to install STAMP on a PC, how is it done?? We tried several computers, but when we get to step 4

"4. Run the "xampp_start.exe" file in the XAMPP base directory. This starts the XAMPP server." a MS-DOS window opens up, shows some error and quickly closes. This happened on all computers we tried.

Yes, STAMP uses a web server. I'd say for your other questions, check out stampscouting.org
There is a forum there you can post questions on, and I think it's checked more often, and by more people.

I was out of town, only to find that we released before we were ready. The 1.4 release here was not functional, though 1.3 is. We will have a 1.4.2 release tommorow, and 1.5 this coming Wednesday.
