July 21-Youth Day in England

The mentors from the 2 British rookie teams that attended the Chesapeake asked me to publicize:

International Youth Day-Friday July 21, 2006 at the Farnborough International Air Show in England. This is the largest air show in the world, which runs from July 17-23, 2006.

About 1250 young people will be provided with specific invitations to attend the International Youth Day. The invitations will be made as a means of recognition for their individual school work appropriate to the aerospace industries. Transport to and from Franborough will be the responsibility of the individuals.

The aim of the day is to provide an eye-catching and mind-opening programme of opportunities for young people in enjoying and learning about the world of science, technology, engineering and mathematics..

Hundreds of companies and organizations involved.
