Actually, If I'm not mistaken, as long as those wings are in the bumper zone and it's incidental contact it's legal. I may me wrong.

• If a ROBOT extends outside of its 28 inch by 38 inch starting footprint, it is responsible for the
extension’s contact with other ROBOTs and must not use the extension to contact other ROBOTs
outside of the BUMPER ZONE. Likewise, other ROBOTs will not be responsible for contact with
the extension outside of the BUMPER ZONE. Again, incidental contact will not be penalized.
I may be interpreting this wrong, but as long as those wings are between 2 1/2 and 8 1/2 inches from the floor, it's legal.

Dusty is on a distinguished road
Re: Team 1901 - what did you think?

The problem was that they were not 2 1/2 inches from the floor, they were mabye 1/2 an inch. The problem that we were having was thant other robotswould run over them and then potentially flip over.

Re: Team 1901 - what did you think?

i just found this thread and i must say some things
1. i found it very enjoyable to have you guys as alliance partners. Your team listened well and executed even better.
2. the bot was awesome to watch it was so compact, powerful, and if left in the open a deadly offensive bot
3. and of course the awesome shirts and pins!!
