Congrats Dawgma

I would just like to commend team 1712 DAWGMA on their rookie all-star award at the philly regional, and also highest rookie seed. We did some work with these guys when they were pre-rookie and they are really going to be going places in FIRST. So congrats DAWGMA

Re: Congrats Dawgma

I have to say, I really liked the livestrong style bracelets you guys were handing out. Since it was maroon, I wore it to match with my team's colors . We wanted to get similar ones this season, but we didn't have the money in our promotions budget.

Re: Congrats Dawgma

Thank you everyone for your congratulations!

I have to mention that we would not have done as well as we did without the help from many teams at Philly, such as 103, 173, 357, 365, and especially 341. I'm sure there's a few I'm missing, so thanks to everyone that came by to check up on us and help us out!

To all the guys at Miss Daisy, thanks for everything that you did. Even as we spent all of thursday and part way through competition friday trying to sort out all of the problems that suddenly arose with our robot, you had no problem sending over a few people to check over pretty much everything on our robot to get it up to full working condition. Thanks to you guys and everyone else that lent their expertise to our robot, we now know what's causing the issue and we will compete at the Championship hopefully even better than before!

To my team... WE'RE GOING TO ATLANTA! Without all of the hard work from our build team (who saw very little of the qualifying rounds due to being in the pits working on the bot), we would not have gotten our robot back into a condition suitable for the field. Our drive team did a great job, despite the robot flipping out a bit before tripping the breakers during some of the earlier matches, we still mangaged to seed 17th overall! One big thanks to Zollman, who put together our team design notebook and obsessed himself over making sure we had a nice presentation for the judges to see. Again Zollman, thanks for helping me explain all the aspects of the club, team, and everything else to the judges. To everyone, we did it! Now it's time to start gearing up so we'll be ready for the Championships!

Once again, thank you to everyone for all of your praise. We are all very proud of what we have accomplished over the last few days and are really looking forward to seeing everyone at the Championship event. Here's to DAWGMA!

Awesome job, Dawgma! Having met you at preseason events, I can say for sure you were an awesome team and although I did not personally see you, looking at the standings, coming in 17th is great! Good luck and have fun in Atlanta! Can't wait to hear how you guys do!

thank you guys! I saw this, and i couldn't help but smile while reading it through. Thanks to everybody who helped us up to this point (especially Miss Daisy, who dealt with me heading up there and using one of their robots during pre-season =P). Thanks again!

Freddy,

As much as we were thrilled to qualify for Atlanta, the time table was very short (Philly was the final week) and we would have been missing too many mentors and students to make the expense and logistics worthwhile. In fact, we were at the point where we would have needed to "steal" mentors from our friends.

Rather than scramble for a set-up that treacherous at best, 1712 is opting to regroup and get robot, finances, and people in order for IRI in July.
