Congratulations on the Regional win.

The machine looks great, and a similar style to 234.
Does anyone know - is there a ball pick-up or is it human player reload?

I would guess from the gap in the front bumpers and the elevator-like structure in front that it could pick up from the floor.

Re: pic: MisCar 1574 robot

Thanks, and yes, we do collect balls, and from both sides.
We were the only team at the Israeli Regional which had a robot that can collect balls from both back and front. The balls enter from both sides and get to the elevator.

In the elevator are located two air cylinders. One at the bottom and one at the middle. When the robot is in collection mode, The cylinder in the middle is opened and the cylinder in the bottom is closed, so balls could enter the red canals at the middle of the robot, and there they are stored.

when we want to shoot balls, the cylinder at the bottom is opened and the cylinder at the middle is closed, so balls could climb up to the canon.

We can also shoot to the lower goal by reversing the elevator, so balls are kicked down instead of getting up.

In the autonomous mode we can shoot all 10 balls to the lower goal or to shoot about 4-5 balls to the upper goal

In the Israeli Regional we won the First place along with 2 Other teams.
We also won the Radioshack in Control award for being most fuctional robot.
Another award we won the the Kleiner......Enterpreneurship award.
