Attention Regional Scorekeepers
For my Writing in the Professions class this term, I have to write a technical guide. Seeing as I thought the the guide providing to the scorekeepers was more a feature based guide, rather than a how-to guide, I'm writing a how-to manual of the FIRST Scoring Software with what I wished I had known when scorekeeping at my first event at BAE.
Are there any specific procedures you wish you would have known? |

Re: Attention Regional Scorekeepers
This is a great idea....
as with all endeavours, be sure you seek-out the "voice of the customer" before you start to create the project. I'm guessing, but I would think that a "how-to" guide for scoring will: a) be different each year b) need to be textual as well as graphic (picture worth 1,000 words) c) have a form-factor of pocket tri-fold for ease-of-use This "how-to" guide should also be in a couple of sections: a) how-to before the match b) how-to score during the match c) field reset issues after the match |
