New Ryobi 3-speed drill transmissions!

In response to this thread, I was looking around on the Internet today for spare ransmissions for a 12v 2-speed Ryobi drill.

As I was searching, whenever I saw something that immediately caught my attention. I came across a new 18-volt hammer drill from Ryobi that has a three speed shifting transmission. Yes, you heard that right, Dewalt is not the only company that manufactures 3-speed drills. The outside of the drill looks remarkably similar to the Dewalts, and if this drill is anything like other Ryobi tools, it is probably half the price of a Dewalt.

I think you may actually be able to use this transmission just like one of the NBD transmissions, with the exception that the servo-shifting will have to be rotated 90°. But otherwise, if you take the handle off, you will have a nice spot to secure one of the huge shaft collars; and right behind this spot you have four bolt holes that run parallel to the output shaft that could be used to bolt the CIM motor plate to the transmission.
