Below is a link to an article that ran in the 4/26 issue of the NY Times which includes reference to FRC Team 1880, and one team member, in particular.

It's a remarkable story. Team 1880 is a rookie team who has had terrific success in meeting the engineering challenges FIRST offers. Team member, Amadou Ly has been an important member of that team, and has faced challenges well beyond engineering ones.

FIRST is not an expert in immigration, but we understand there may be some hope of accommodating him within current laws. So, FIRST will work with Amadou's schools, community leaders, and elected officials to look for a way to help.
