Thanks to Team 234 for demo

I just want to throw a Thank You to Team 234 for doing a Robotics demo at the International Science & Engineering Fair in Indianapolis that I participated in this week. Though I didn't get to drop by your display until Friday, I saw lots of pictures and heard lots of people say that besides the fair it was one of the coolest things they saw. Thanks guys you hit a good audience .

Team 1720 also came out to assist in the demonstration at the ISEF. It was a very successful two days of showing off the robot to students, getting kids and students excited, and getting people generally informed about FIRST.

Check out some of the pictures from the demo Right Here

Re: Thanks to Team 234 for demo

Nice pictures ... and great job 234 and 1720.

Notice also, in the background of this picture is the Autonomous Jeep that competed in the DARPA Grand Challenge II - entered by the Indy Robot Racing Team (myself and another 1018 mentor on this team, as well as a few mentors from 829). Not sure if there are any plans for this vehicle to participate in the upcomming DARPA Urban Challenge ...

Re: Thanks to Team 234 for demo

A special thanks for this event goes to Brant Bowen and Ryan Dognaux, Class of 2005 Cyber Blue Alumni.

Our high school students couldn't miss another day of school this close to finals week, and these two volunteered to get things going on Thursday. Our 'current' students were off Friday and were able to be there for the Demos.

Thanks Brant & Ryan -

I guess this proves you neveer really graduate from your FIRST team....
