I have taken your question to the "Aim High" animation team, and they said you could put the animation on a 30GB iPod - as long as you provided the animation team with a similar iPod so they can view the animation in a similar context. All in all, I think that is a quite reasonable offer.*

p.s. real answer: yes, of course you can. Go ahead and have at it.

Re: can i put "Aim High" on my video ipod

he asked "how" not if he could!

I believe you should be able to drag it to iTunes and if it is not the right format and whatnot it should ask you if you would like to convert it to the right format and size. After which it should stick it on your iPod.

Edit: he seems to have edited his post, I believe to add the how

I've had better luck with converting videos to my 5G by using iSquint. It's only for OS X, but it'll handle just about any format you throw at it. Just remember to use your powers for good or for awesome.

A good alternative for windows is Videora, which should be able to handle any video you have a codec for on your system.

You can download it for your iPod off of the FIRSTcast site. http://podcast.openfirst.org/download.htm

You can also subscribe to FIRSTcast directly from iTunes, and then just download the animation right from iTunes for free.

Videora is the best alternative. I've been using it now, since the iPod Video first came out, and it has put the entire family guy and simpsons seasons on my iPod. If you are going to use it, be sure to use V0.9, that version is free and has great quality.

Though I highly doubt you'll be wanting to store uncompressed video and audio on your iPod
