Hey all,
After looking at the field controller used in the last SCRRF and Cal Games, I came up with an idea! Why don’t I build a VEX field controller just like the one I saw for team use and for kicks? But in the process of brainstorming, I thought of a potential problem. Looking at the VEX controller used at Cal Games, it looked like the custom circuit board had some resistors and a few diodes on the board. What were they used for? Is it not safe to pump +5V into the competition port? Well, another question to ask, how would you complete the circuit between the ground and autonomous pin using the VEX controller without relays? Thanks! |
