That's done purposefully. Signatures are limited to no taller than 200px.

when inserting a hyperlink it no longer gives you the prompt for "text to be formatted"

Large images seem to overflow the usual margins on the side, making one post wider than the rest. This is hard for me describe exactly in words, so please look at the difference in width of post number 4 is compared to post number 5.

Hmm. One way that does work is to type the text, highlight it, and then click the hyperlink icon.

The option is available under additional options for sending a PM. When it comes to other people sending you them, it's up to them to check the box to request a read receipt.

I have to be honest, I didn't look at every post in this thread, so I apologize ahead of time if this is a duplicate.

I found a link error in the site tree (at the top). From forum if I click an item in the CD swap, it takes me to the item. Then if I click CD swap in the tree it takes me to the "Unsung FIRST Heroes" front page instead of the CD swap front page.
