Greetings Teams:

The countdown is on! With just 8 days to Kickoff, we hope you are as excited as we are to get the 2007 FRC season officially started!

We have some helpful information to share with you below.

KIT OF PARTS (KOP)

This year there will be a total of 6 items that make up the Kit of Parts (KOP)
Two (2) 70 lb. totes
Two (2) boxes, one less than 10 lbs and the second less than 20 lbs.
One (1) bag less than 5 lbs
One (1) small envelope
Tip! Teams often find it helpful to have a dolly to pick up their KOP at the Kickoff!

KOP RECEIPT

You (the main, alternate or surrogate pickup contact) will be given the team's KOP receipt at registration on Saturday. For those of you attending the Kickoff for the first time, this receipt confirms your team can pick up a KOP.

**IMPORTANT** Hold onto this receipt until the Kickoff ceremonies are over. We do not have duplicates of these receipts, so it will be very important you do not lose it. You will bring the receipt with you to Kit Handout.
Your KOP receipt is designed with six (6) check boxes. As you proceed through the handout line, you will check off each item you receive in the appropriate box.
You will sign and print on the line provided;
You will turn in the KOP receipt to the designated collector(s) before you leave the pick up line to head home.
KOP CHECKLIST:

The KOP checklist is used to inventory your KOP's contents and confirm you have received all intended items. Please note this year the KOP checklist will be available for download as an encrypted file from our website. It will not be included in the KOP.

Details on downloading, testing and decrypting the Checklist and the encrypted portions of the manual will be coming early next week via email.

REPLACEMENT PARTS REQUEST SYSTEM

If you find a part is missing, or a replacement part is needed, you will use the FIRST "Replacement Parts Request System" for ordering the part(s). Details on how to access the system along with deadline for submission information will be sent to you shortly via email.

Tip! Please make sure your Shipping Contact information is accurate and complete in the Team Information Management System (TIMS) as this is to whom the part(s) will be shipped!

CONSENT AND RELEASE FORMS

Please Do Not forget your Consent and Release forms! All persons attending the Kickoff events are required to complete the form.

We suggest you make enough copies for all persons attending with your team. Have each read the form, fill in the required information, and sign where provided. Attendees under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian's signature on the form. You will turn in the forms at the registration table.
