Kickoff Broadcast

One guy on my team just brought this to my attention:

On the NASA website, they show that the time for the Kickoff Broadcast is 10:00 - 1:00 as you can see below.
http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/nasat..._Breaking.html

January 6, Saturday
10 a.m. - 1 p.m. - FIRST Robotics Season Kick Off from Southern New Hampshire University - GSFC (Public and Education Channels)

Last year it was from 10:00 to 12:00, and they didn't come close to using up all of that time... Sounds like a significantly longer broadcast.

Maybe the game is so complex this year they need a whole extra hour to explain it!

Re: Kickoff Broadcast

That's strange. It's definitely not that long...check the schedule for the main kickoff event here: http://155.212.10.234/community/frc/...418&menu_id=80

Maybe, if it's from 10:00 to 11:30, they're playing it twice in a row (on the tv station) until 1:00.
