Activating Autonomous no OI

Hi all,
I took home the RC, the camera and all that and everything i need to program the camera.
but i ran into a problem, i can't get the autonomous mode to start. i know it can be done by bridging something at the OI, but since I don't have it with me, i was wondering if there is a way to activate autonomous mode without it, using only the RC.
Thanks,
Carmel

Re: Activating Autonomous no OI

without an OI, the RC won't ever execute user code. Your going to need to get one if you hope to do anything

OK, thanks
I'll just write anything, and tmw i'll get the OI and work on it
What else do I need to bring back, exept for the OI and the red thether cable, anything?

And after i have everything connected, how do i get the autonomous running?
Thanks,
Carmel

You can start autonomous mode by tethering to the robot and setting the team number to 0000, or you can build or buy a competition port dongle with a switch that turns on autonomous. The latter is preferable, because then you'll also have a switch to remotely disable the robot when it starts to flip out.
