Maxi Block question?

Do we absolutly have to use the 4 slotted 40 amp breaker panel or are we allowed to buy a 2 slotted one that is exactly the same but only with 2 slots to save weight? thanks.

You should post this as a question to the QandA. Three years ago,
this question was posted to the QandA and the answer was that we had
to use the four slot panel that was shipped in the KOP, but that we could
remove the unused metal parts (that panel could be dissasembled).
Our mileage this season may be different.
