Unhappy CMU cam EasyC config

How do you import code from labview to easyc?

The only output from labview to easyc for the camera configuration that we could find was an .ini file, but easyc wants us to import an .ecc file to Initialize the camera.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Also, how many people are using Labview & EasyC to program the camera (instead of Kevins code... MPLab...)?

Re: CMU cam EasyC config

We had the same problem, however you can write down the values from Labview and put them in manually in EasyC. Really, though, the easyC default settings seem to work just fine for us.

Re: CMU cam EasyC config

We opened the file with notepad, and resaved it under the type all files with a .ECC ending. It seemed to work just fine.

Re: CMU cam EasyC config

We are getting ready to fix this in a update to easyC that uses .ini. If you change the extension to .ecc it will work file. Also the default values in easyC are calibrated very well for this years color.
