our team is going with the pheonix theme again this year, fir our 4th time. It all started once our robot funky got destroyed by a forklift when being shipped home so we build another robot, pheonix, from what we could salvage for the offseason. this robot was followed by pheonix rising. then we skipped a year of pheonix theming, then we were pack with pheonix version 3.14 last year, and this year we have pheonix phenomenon (it lost by one vote to the name 'pheonix quatro: the power of titanium'). I think we might try and gradually switch over to a more mythical era theme of knights etc. since our schools mascot is th green dragons, and we might be able to blend with that.

We always go with a theme that is started with some inside joke on the team. So we will have our mascots as Gators, but we will make up some crazy jokes and stuff about our robot, which kind of looks like a, well you'll see at competition.
