I don't think so. However, as far as I know, there is no rule specifically allowing or disallowing it. (Somebody will probably prove me wrong shortly, but I don't really mind.) I'd ask Q&A.

What would you want 10 pounds of compressor for, anyway? (Yes, that's about 5 pounds/compressor.)

Did you get 2 compressors in your kit? I should think not. A compressor is considered another motor and another non-legal item. Simply put it would not be legal.


I do have to wonder though, why would you want another compressor on board?

its to help our lift since today we got an e-mail saying that we cant use the cylinders we ordered from bimba and now its making life difficult for us and we might have to use a 2'' bore which uses more air than we have

I believe you're allowed to use up to 4 of the clippard tanks this year. Have the compressor feed into these tanks at 120psi and then use the fixed regulator to lower the operating pressure of your pneumatics to 60 psi or less. The stored air in the tanks should provide enouogh volume to drive what you need.

Check the pheumatics manual for help in setting up the system.

thanks but i dont need help with any of that i have done the math and we would need 78% more air to go 12'' and we are already useing four tanks at 125 psi we have contacted first and we are not alowed to use two comprresors

Does lowering the pressure to, say, 30 psi rather than 60 then make you have enough air, or would 30 psi not give you enough power?

Also, depending on how close you are, you may just have to start your lift with 15/20 seconds left in the match so it has time to get filled all the way by the end.
