Drums, Guitars, and Driving

So what does everyone one do during the off season? FIRST is really kool but it's can't be everyone's life. As for myself, Playing the drums is my life. I love playing my guitar also. Actually I'm in a band with a couple of friends. It's the most fun thing I know of. Besides that there is school... yeah nevermind about that. I'm the Sound Technician for the school which isn't too bad I guess. So let's here it what does everyone do?

SWEET! I've never longboarded but I've snowboarded. That is way fun. I don't really like fishing it's kind of boring. I love skiing and kneeboarding though. Our engineering class is building an electrathon car currently and it is really kool.

Re: Drums, Guitars, and Driving

I ski (kinda conflicts with the FIRST season), water ski, hunt, fish, trap/target shoot, and ride ATVs of all sorts (four wheelers, dirt bikes, snowmobiles, my Jeep, etc). I can be found doing pretty much anything outside...

I play football(defensive lineman), track and field (discus), street ball (well, not sure about the street part) and urban biking( i.e. biking on the highways and other areas). star gazing is a newly aquired taste.

Re: Drums, Guitars, and Driving

For the part of the year that I'm not in robotics, I'm in marching band (right now i march flute, but I'm trying out for drumline for next marching season. YEAH bass line!) and I can usually be found with a camera of some sort attached to my hand, much to the distaste of my friends (as most of them dont like getting their picture taken). Also trying to get into astronomy/stargazing when its warm outside (which isnt very often in michigan). I read ALOT (usually 1 or 2 books a week) and that pretty much takes up all my spare time

Re: Drums, Guitars, and Driving

One of my favorite things to do is make movies with my friends when we aren't jamming out. It's way fun. I like watching movies and listening to music. What are some of you guy's favorite bands? Mine are Blink 182, The Offspring, Hinder, Nickelback, Green Day, them and the likes mostly I like punk rock.

Re: Drums, Guitars, and Driving

I spend most of my time working at my job (a movie theater), spending time with friends, knitting/crochetting, reading books, reading comic books, taing pictures for my weekly photography class assignment, in class (high school classes + college classes), at local shows, or online.

As far as other clubs go...student council, philo (girls doing charity and stuff), section k (student cheer section), spanish club.
