Re: Prom anyone????

So, I wonder if there will be like actual dancing taking place, or if it will be lots of people standing around not doing much of anything.

In either case, would anyone like to go with me? Or am I just awesome enough myself to show up alone?

I would love to go, but I have to talk to the mentors about things like logistics. (How does one get to anywhere from the Country Inn & Suites: Atlanta Airport South on a shoestring budget?)

Re: Prom anyone????

"Dress to impress," typically, means no denim (sorry, Dean), sweatshirts, t-shirts, hats, or sneakers. What it means for girls is harder to define since it's used most often when describing the dress code at clubs and what most girls wear to clubs probably isn't appropriate.

Use common sense -- don't look like a slob, but it's not a white tie affair, either, and it's not even as formal as semi-formal.

Dress to impress? Is it possible to have some guidelines? I don't want to look under/over dressed.

On another note; are people serious about dates? haha, Because if this IS a "Date" event, solo is fine right? lol

Re: Prom anyone????

well, dress to impress is basically semi-formal attire. if what i understand is correct. personally, im wearing a casual type dress. and my dates wearing a button up shirt and tie.

dates are cool, but so is going solo. it's pretty much like a less formal and a lot more fun type of prom.
