I LOVE FIRST because it has made me who I am today (an Electrical Engineer).

I LOVE FIRST because it gave me a chance to start 229 and 1511 and meet some of the best people I have ever known on those teams.

I LOVE FIRST because it has taught me to be a better leader.

I LOVE FIRST because the kids are simply amazing and so inspiring.

I LOVE FIRST because its my family

I LOVE FIRST for all the great teams Ive gotten to know well: 175, 177, 340, 191, 1507, 1559, 1991, 1547, 1551, 378, 211, 1126, 1450, 1405, 2228, 2999, 467, 365 (and soooo many more!!)

I LOVE FIRST because the Rochester teams work so well together!!

I LOVE FIRST because I got so much more than my one moment I expected as a mentor (I wanted to inspire just one kid the way I had been inspired).

I LOVE FIRST because we all LOVE to share!!! We all stand on the shoulders of Giants!

I think there are a million more, but these are enough to make me feel good for the week!

i love the people in FIRST. i'm proud to keep little team traditions going and pass them on to the new members. one of those was our team(461)'s gigant happy cat poster. sadly it was stolen at buckeye so please help or team tradition continue. it looks like this plz help berserkerberries@gmail.com

I love FIRST because when I find someone like me, we both know it right away.

I love FIRST because once you get over that initial sense of failure when you lose in the quarter finals you run out and cheer for the other teams.

I love FIRST because of the pride I see my students have when talking about what the team means to them.
